Welcome to Ang Mo Kio Secondary School. Our AMKSS Parent Support Group (PSG) will be here to help and support the transition stage of the kids and parents.

Established since Dec 2003, AMKSS-PSG is a voluntary group with following objectives:
1) to Promote school, home and community collaboration for mutual benefit and quality of education.
2) to Support the school initiatives and projects in the efforts to help our children achieve excellence in the
3) to Grow the networking among the Parents thru activities with the school.
We sincerely welcome you and/or your spouse to join us as a member and volunteer a little of your time and expertise.
By being a PSG member, you will:
a) be kept informed of the latest development in AMK Secondary School thru the bi-monthly meetings and dialogue with the Principal and Vice Principal
b) have the opportunity to provide your feedback, share ideas, assist and co-ordinate projects, network with parents and attend workshops at no cost.
c) be more actively in touch with your children’s activities in school by contributing new ideas that will bring about growth and development of the school.

What is FAMILY Matters@School?
FamilyMatters@School equips parents and young adults with skills to nurture positive family relationships. We work closely with schools, parent support groups and parent volunteers so that parents can easily get access to family life programmes that help them better connect with their children.

Essential Parenting Resource Kit
"Essential Parenting" is a platform dedicated to providing nuggets of information, practical tips and the latest programmes just for parents. It is a parent education initiative by the Family Education and Promotion Division, Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF).
They have recently launched a new parenting guide, "Essential Parenting Resource Kit� that will equip you with more parenting tips. Contents in this resource kit are tailored according to parenting at various stages of their children's growth, from toddlers to teenagers.
